The Computer Lab at Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women empowers teacher trainees with essential digital literacy and ICT skills. The lab features modern computers, high-speed internet, and educational software that supports lesson planning, digital content creation, and research. Trainees learn to integrate technology into pedagogy, preparing them for computer-assisted instruction and virtual classroom environments.
Creativity is key to effective teaching. Our Arts & Craft Lab provides teacher trainees with a space to explore and express their artistic abilities. Equipped with drawing, painting, and craft materials, the lab encourages the creation of teaching aids, charts, models, and classroom decorations. Trainees learn how to incorporate visual and tactile elements into lessons, making learning more engaging for school children.
The Mathematics Method Lab is a hands-on learning space where trainees explore mathematical concepts through models, games, and teaching aids. The Social Studies Method Lab provides resources such as maps, globes, historical models, and cultural artifacts. The Psychology Lab offers teacher trainees a platform to understand the mental and emotional development of learners. Language proficiency is crucial for effective teaching. Our Language Lab helps teacher trainees develop communication skills, correct pronunciation, and fluency in English and other languages. The college came into existence in 2006 with the initial intake of 100 students under the Presidentship of Ch. Bharat Singh. In 2007-08 the intake was increased to 200.
