Working of Totorials and House System

For the purpose of smooth and democratic functioning of the college there are four houses/ tutorials in the college. Each house has three representatives elected by the members of the house -one of them is captain and other two are associates. The objectives of tutorial and house system are

To provide academic and personal guidance and counseling.
To find out hidden talent of the students.
To identify poor and meritorious students.
To have close supervision of the work and progress of the students.
To strengthen emotional bond between teachers and students.

The tutorial groups meet once a week. Regular activities organized by the tutorials/ houses are morning assembly; inter house competitions (Sports, Poster making, Black Board writing, Quiz, Creative writing etc.), campus cleanliness, maintenance of their respective board etc.
